Las Torres de Cotillas Workshops

14th and 15th June 2017 LAS TORRES DE COTILLAS WORKSHOPS



The Do-U-Sport workshops of Las Torres de Cotillas were held last June 14th and 15th with local sports agents, and representatives of neighborhood, schools, immigrants, the elderly, handicapped and social associations. The presentation of the project was carried out by the Councilor for Youth, Sports and Physical Activity, Ginés Pérez, with the collaboration of the technical coordinator of the project, Consuelo Meseguer, and took place at the Municipal Sports Center.

Once the presentations were completed, it was time for the roundtables to discuss the International Debates, which will take place in November in the municipality, and the 12 Just-Try-It Activities, which will be scheduled one per month from August 2017 to August 2018. In these roundtables, the local agents were offered the opportunity to contribute with their ideas and suggestions for the improvement of the project.

IV Workshop "Conoce tu Empresa" (Know your Company)



Last Friday 5th of May, the IV Workshop ‘Conoce tu Empresa’ (Know your Company) was held in Las Torres de Cotillas (Spain). In it the mayor of the municipality, Domingo Coronado, presented the Internal Communication Plan and the Settlement of the Municipal Budget 2016 to the employees of the City Council.

In addition, the Mayor informed them of the two European projects:
 
  •        European project DO U SPORT? included in the Erasmus + program of the European Commission and developed in collaboration with the municipalities of Tábua (Portugal) and Mielec (Poland). The aim of the project is to provide new strategies and solutions at local level to ensure sport as a possible grass-root activity for all, free from barriers.  

  •     "EDUSI Las Torres Conecta" project, with which this City Council has participated in the 2nd Call for the selection of Strategies for Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development,  and which will be co-financed through the FEDER operational program for sustainable growth 2014-2020, published in the BOE Dated the 7th of October, 2016, and is currently pending resolution.
